Religious Education Curriculum

Christian witness is the most important contribution that parents make to the Religious Education of their children and the home is the first classroom.

At school, we strive to nurture the children’s faith and lead them to a greater understanding of God by using, as a basis of Religious Education, the Religious Education Curriculum developed by the Diocese of Wollongong for all Catholic Primary schools within the Diocese.

All children participate in a Religious Education lesson each day. We ask for your active participation in your child’s faith development. These suggestions may be of help to you:

  • Regular attendance at Sunday Mass
  • Daily prayer – encourage your child to spend at least a few moments in morning and evening prayer.  Family prayer such as the Rosary can also be very beneficial even for the very young
  • Talking to them about God’s gifts to us
  • Participation in the School’s Religious celebrations and liturgies
