Welcome from our Principal
A warm welcome is extended to all people viewing our school website. Since 1959 Stella Maris Catholic Primary School has a proud history and tradition of serving the Catholic community of Shellharbour and more recently the parish of All Saints, Shellharbour City.

In the spirit of Mary Aikenhead, foundress of the Sisters of Charity, our school is a welcoming community. We especially welcome those who have this year joined our school and parish community. We also welcome visitors to our school, wherever they are from.

We are not a school community in isolation. We are part of the Catholic parish of All Saints. Our pastor is Fr Bryan Jones. Within the parish of All Saints masses are currently celebrated at Stella Maris Church, Sacred Heart Church at Warilla and the Mass centre at Oak Flats. We look forward to our new parish church which will soon be built in Shellharbour City Centre.

Stella Maris Catholic Primary School has developed a harmonious community where school, staff and parents work together for the benefit of the children in our care. If you are new to Stella Maris, please visit our school and find out about some of the great things that are happening. If you are interested in enrolment, please contact the school office.

Paul Brady
Principal

Welcome to our new Principal and members of Staff
The Stella Maris school community is thrilled to welcome our new Principal, Mr Paul Brady. Mr Brady has come to us after working as the ‘Diocesan Director of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine’ for the last seven years. Prior to that he was Principal at St Joseph’s Primary School at Bulli. We look forward to getting to know Mr Brady and wish him the very best as he begins this new stage of his journey here at Stella Maris school.

We welcome too, two new members of staff; Mrs Glory Puljak, who will be teaching Year 6, and Mrs Elise Burns, who will be teaching Music two days a week. We are very lucky to have these two wonderful teachers join our staff this year.

Welcome to all our new students
Finally, we welcome all our new students and their families. Kindies are settling beautifully into school life with the help of their teachers Mrs Ellsmore, Mrs Burns and Mrs Mang. There has been a lot to take in during their first week and they have responded remarkably well! We wish all our new students a fun and productive year with many great experiences to be remembered.
